The Nashua Garden Club will hold its much anticipated, annual plant sale Saturday, May 20th from 8 am to noon on the grounds of the Nashua Historical Society at 5 Abbott Street, Nashua. This event will be held rain or shine. Experienced shoppers know to come early for the best selection of the hundreds of beautiful perennials, annuals, bulbs, herbs and indoor plants supplied by members of the club. These knowledgeable, friendly gardeners be available to help with selections and to answer your questions.
Stop by the popular raffle table featuring original, themed gift baskets and then stroll over to get a whiff of the delicious home-made baked goods that will be for sale. All proceeds support the club's projects within the City of Nashua including maintenance of the Greeley Park Sensory Garden and the grounds at the Greater Nashua Human Society and of philanthropic organizations including the Nashua Soup Kitchen and the Hillsborough 4-H Foundation.
In addition to all of this, the Nashua Historical Society’s Florence H. Speare Memorial Museum will be open for visitation during the sale and will have books about historical Nashua and other items available for purchase. Nashua Cadette Girl Scout Troop 10661, too will be on hand to promote their hand made springtime craft items. Proceeds from sale of these items will go towards the Troop’s various camping activities.
