Nashua Garden Club September Program: Preserving Seeds

Date/Time

Sep 5, 2018
07:00 PM until 08:30 PM

Description

The Nashua Garden Club will hold its first program for the fall of 2018, Seed Saving presented by Advanced Master Gardener Ron Trexler, of the UNH Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program.  Mr. Trexler, also President of the Hooksett NH Garden Club and Vice President of the Sandown NH Garden Club, recently retired from a career in professional training to follow his passion for gardening full time.

At this program, he will provide tips and techniques about how to preserve and save seeds. Timing is perfect as in September thoughts begin to turn to harvesting and preparing for next year’s garden.  Come, join us to hear more.

All are welcome.  Light refreshment will be served.

The Nashua Garden Club is an independent non-denominational club that devotes itself to the diverse needs and interests of its many-faceted member gardeners. Founded in 1961, the Club's uniqueness lies in its accommodation to its members by holding meetings in the evening. The Club's mission is to encourage its members to fully involve themselves in learning about and participating in the many and varied aspects of horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and the civic beautification of our community.
