Pleasant Street from Porter Street to Market Square is closed to traffic, the result of an initiative to identify/create pedestrian-friendly areas in downtown Portsmouth where musicians, theatrical and dance companies can entertain folks
All performances are weather permitting and attendees are encouraged to BYOC (bring your own chair) and enjoy the music, bring a nosh and a beverage (no alcohol, please).

The fair also includes daily craft demonstrations; specialized workshops; and the Living with Craft Exhibition, where the crafts are exhibited in home vignettes.
