2014 Bath Design Honorable Mention: Luxury Spa Bath Retreat

An outdated master bath was renovated and now includes a state-of-the-art Ultra ThermoMasseur tub with fifty-four air-jets, integrated arm rests and a heated back rest; a glass-enclosed steam shower; and sleek his-and-hers double vanities. Relocating the tub made room for a new window seat. Shades of green, white, amber and silver keep the space elegant and fresh, creating a relaxing spa-like feel.

Judges said the space was “vastly improved” and that “the new space was open, light and bright in complete contrast to the old rooms. The lightness of the rooms was nicely juxtaposed by the use of the dark stained-wood for the built-in cabinetry.”
