The hillside that overlooks Newfound Lake provided the inspiration to develop multi-level seating with views of the lake for this home. Granite pieces for the patio were hand shaped, while the landscape masonry is a tasteful blend of aged fieldstone. The masonry fire pit with stone slab benches provides a destination from the large, upper deck. The completed landscaping lets the homeowners easily transition down to the lake.

Judges said: We liked seeing the plan and also liked the use of stone slabs for the terrace.
